Social Studies Academy AP Boot Camp July, 2012
The Social Studies Academy AP Boot Camp took place over three days in July.
At the Boot Camp, students attend mini workshops that introduced them to RHS AP classes. Topics included:
• How to study like an College Student-Advise from current AP students
• Introduction to thesis and essay writing
• Demystifying the Document Based Question (DBQ)
• Test taking tips
Each Participant also received:
• Lunch and snacks each day
• An AWESOME RHS Social Studies Academy T-shirt (designed by SSA students)
• A College Writing Guide
• Participation credit going into AP European History
