School Information

F.D. Roosevelt (FDR) Elementary School is a public school that serves 3rd through 5th grade students. FDR is one of seven elementary schools in the Lawndale Elementary School District. Our school is located in an urban neighborhood where most students live in low income apartment buildings. Eighty-six percent of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch, and our students speak sixteen languages: Vietnamese, Urdu, Hindi, Tagalog, Tongan, Korean, Mandarin, Japanese, Arabic, Cantonese, Italian, French, German, Spanish, and English.
