Chapman University Holocaust Writing and Art Contest Entry

The Chapman University Holocaust Remembrance Day includes a contest for middle and high school students. Schools are invited to submit three entries of prose, poetry, or work of art. Rowland High School Social Studies Academy submitted entries that included works of art. Social Studies Academy students, their teacher, and the school Principal were invited to participate in the Holocaust Remembrance Day ceremony and met with members of the "1939" club, a group of Holocaust survivors.
