Using Drama in the Classroom
Utilizing drama to teach English skills creates a real context for language usage. Developing our capacity to integrate arts and language added to our pedagogic skills, thus making it possible to maintain a student centered approach to teaching.
The benefits of using drama in the classroom are extensive. First the motivation factor is increased both for teachers and students. In addition, students' language output is also increased and the need to communicate becomes more authentic.
