Resources and Inspiration for Our TIIP Project
Throughout the process of our TIIP grant we collected, developed, and reflected on a variety of resources. One lesson we learned was that the process of creating resources is evolutionary: we begin with an idea, but as we viewed more study sites and put our resources into practice, many of them went through multiple revisions. For example, our project rubric has been in the making for at least four years, with at least three major revisions. We believe that this process of reflecting, refining, and tweaking is integral to the project process. It is imperative that resources reflect the current mission of the school and the reality of the professional world.

Resources Developed by Our Team:
- Project Rubric: used to assess student-developed work in the 10th and 11th grade.
- Senior Thesis Proposal format: used to help 11th grade students propose a year long, authentic project for senior year.
- Senior Thesis In-Progress Rubric: used to assess projects mid-year to help students move forward and complete their capstone project.
- Senior Thesis Rubric: used to give a final assessment of the Senior Thesis project.
- Autobiographical Project requirements: this format is used to guide students in creating their narrative projects that begin in 9th grade and are completed with a 100 page autobiography and a creative product in the 12th grade.
