Using Video for Research and Experiment Reports
This year we were able to use iMovie as an alternative to the usual posters and PowerPoint methods of presentation.
The UCLA TIIP grant allowed us to research the best ways in which technology could be used to motivate our students. Using cameras and iMovie in Mac computers, our students were able to create videos to present Science Careers Research and Experiment Reports. This is the first year we tried this approach, and we still have some improvements to make but here are two examples of videos created by our students.
