The Earth System Science Education Alliance develops modules that consider events like the Gulf Oil Spill or Yosemite Fires using integrated earth systems analysis approaches that encourage collaboration and original thinking and research and analysis and that real world problems rarely have one clear cut solution.

Understanding Science

A website developed by the University of California Museum of Paleontology dedicated to helping teachers and students appreciate how science really works - highlighting science as both a process and a body of knowledge. Invaluable to those of us whose major scientific experiences have always been in a classroom.
