Student Notesheet for "Visualizing Cultures: Picturing the Past (Canton)"
This notesheet abbreviates the many, many slides that are in the teacher presentation so that students can both take notes and follow the presentation. Print note sheet with 3 slides per page so that the picture and lines for writing notes print out on a single sheet.

Dialogue Journals
Use this format when students read independently to collect research in the computer lab, or for homework assignments, or independent analysis of documents in the classroom. If done digitally, the assignment can be uploaded to www.turnitin.com or some other digital drop box. Change the directions as needed.
