- Asia for Educators
- Professional development for teachers, and resources for students of all age levels, regarding Asian societies (focusing on Japan and China). Be sure to preview materials to make sure they are comprehensible before turning students loose on this site.
- Visualizing Cultures: Asia
- This web site focuses on imagery from Japan and China as a way to access their cultures. Essays accompany the images to explain and challenge the reader. Very accessible for students--they explore IMAGES and get background information--and a good site for 9-12 grade kids to independently explore. MIT's mission statement is an interesting history issue in and of itself.
- The California Science Center
- This website provides educators information about what exhibits and activities are currently available at the Science Center as well as information on science curriculum and instruction.
- Exploratorium: The Museum of Science, Art, and Human Perception
- Educators can search through the digital library for curricular and instructional materials such as lessons, demonstrations, experiments and digital media for use in the science classroom.
- TIIP team web-based projects (home page)
- PBWorks website for TIIP team teachers to share web-based archives, projects, and document sources, as well as on-line professional development.
- Updated Bloom's Taxonomy
- This version takes the nouns out and puts in verbs, matching student mental activity. Note that affective domain is not part of this newer version.
- Planning Using Bloom's Taxonomy
- Worksheet from Pearson Education with verbs that link to different levels of Bloom's taxonomy; helps teachers understand the different levels and plan for it in lessons.
