TIIP Submission
The libraries organize uploaded files (documents and images), saved weblinks and videolinks in one easy-to-locate place. Think of the libraries as your "stuff holder". To submit a resource to the TIIP Resources showcase, just change the state of your item from (private) RED to (submit) ORANGE. The media players allow you to display images and web media in your portfolios.
- Weblinks Library
- This library stores an annotated list of your web-based research and resources. Anything you find on the www may be added to your links library. Annotate your links with a short summary. Examples follow.
- Documents Library
- This library collects Pdfs, Word documents, or zipped files. Any written document you upload from your computer. Write a little note about the document to help out people visiting your portfolio. Example follows.
- Photo Library
- This library is for collecting photos (web size jpgs only - see the web pictures help tutorial in your Portfolio Help Toolkit to learn how to resize your photos ). You can also organize your images into albums by adding a new folder and copy/pasting your pictures in that folder. Examples are provided - you may delete the examples.
- Photo Slideshow Player
- This slideshow player will animate your saved image files into a slideshow. Copy/paste images from your photo library into a slideshow template folder. Annotate and organize your photos to tell a story. To create more slide shows - just copy and paste the example template, rename it, and copy/paste new photos into it.
- Web Video Player
- This video player will play video links from web media sites (videos you find on Youtube, Vimeo, Google Video) and presentations you find on Slideshare. If want to post your own video files, you must first upload to a media archive (UCLA iTunesU, UCLA Youtube, or your own YouTube/Vimeo account), before linking here. Examples follow.
