LA Riots and Daytime Curfew

These are images of students engaged in their work beyond the walls of the classroom in their attempt to understand the stories and experiences of South Central Los Angeles. These experiences took place during the 2011-12 school year, when students examined the history and context of the Los Angeles Riots as well as the student movement to amend the Los Angeles daytime curfew law.
