This hands-on workshop for social studies teachers will explore various educational technologies that can be used in classrooms to enhance curriculum, increase student engagement, as well as provide opportunities for students to create original content to demonstrate their learning. The workshop examines effective, research-based techniques for incorporating web tools, apps, smart phones, tablets and other emerging technologies into social studies curricula and instruction to support English Learners and other high-risk populations.
