We are accepting applications for our next Asia Cohort.  We will select six 6th and 7th grade social studies teachers to participate in this in-depth professional learning program. 

You are committing to:

• Participation in 3 Saturday sessions at UCLA on January 23rd, February 20th, and April 9th.
• The development of an inquiry-based lesson including primary and secondary sources.
• Teaching the lesson and bringing back student work by the April 9th session.
• Revising the lesson based on feedback from the group.

Why do it?

• Work in a collegial setting with other teachers and UCLA graduate student
• Increase your knowledge of Asian history
• $500 stipend upon completion of lesson and student work submission
• Select lessons will be published on our website
